That's just like a regular outlook 2000 imap configuration. (read on)

To find why Outlook or Binc tries to create INBOX, you'd need to intercept
the communication between Binc and Outlook. If you allow plain text
connections in the conf file, then insert the "recordio" program in front
of bincimap-up in the imap/run file, then restart the imap service, you 
will get lots of output in your log file when a client connects.

Then reproduce the error with Outlook, and post the log output to this 
list. :-)
