There's a nice variety of ducks at Kincardine Sewage lagoons - Redhead, Bufflehead, Mallard, Gadwall, Lesser and Greater Scaup, Ruddy, Northern Shoveller. Located south of Kincardine off highway 21, first road south of Bruce St.
At Mirimachi Bay, between Southampton and Port Elgin along Lake Huron, there are approximately 1,000 Canada Geese, a dozen Snow Geese, and one Cackling Goose close to shore (possibly more further out but I didn't have my scope). Horseshoe Bay, immediately north of Mirimachi, had several large flocks of Dunlin as well as a small flock of unidentified shorebirds beyond binocular range. Cindy Cartwright Saugeen Shores -
