Apologies if a similar query has already been posted—I have found no trace of it. In the latest version of QS (1.1.3 / 4007, on Mac OS X Mavericks), one of the commands that I use the most, namely "Open with" (or "Ouvrir avec", as I use the French language), takes a very long time to come up in the second pane. For example, I invoke QS, locate the PDF file I wish to open, but as I wish to open it with Skim instead of the default application (Adobe Acrobat), I need then to press for instance "o" to obtain a choice of commands, and select "Open with". The irritating problem I get systematically here is that, the first time I go through such a sequence after launching QS, it takes a very long time (typically more than 5 seconds on my powerful iMac, and more than 10-15 seconds on my less powerful MacBook) to finally see something happening in the second pane, and to finally be able to select "Open with". (Starting from the 2nd occurrence of such a sequence, things become fast as they normally are with QS.) Any clue as to how things could be made to speed up a bit here? Thanks.
