Hi, Do you have any applications stored on an external drive, or a drive connected via a network (a connected Windows computer or NAS par example)? It is possible that Quicksilver is looking for a list of applications to open the file, and as such is loading external drives. If you do have any attached, you could try removing them and relaunching Quicksilver.
