Build udev_update and report back some usage info!  But yes, I
wholeheartedly agree.

I don't think so.  It's unfortunate that the headers are getting out
of date, but we can keep using them as long as we want.  The only two
major features I can think of that would be left out of glibc are
inotify support and the new syscalls.  Greg has a patch to add the new
syscalls to l-l-h-2.6.12.0 for x86:

Hmm, this info should be going on lfs-dev.  Just to finish my thought,
