Yes, general rule of thumb, always create a directory before using unzip.
Personally I suggest doing 'unzip -l' first to see if a new directory is
needed.

Never used fc-list before. Output was several pages, about a quarter of my
10,000 line screen buffer. :-)
I only have 449 listed and most of those are in noto (336), terminus(36),
and X11 (36).
