 That, in itself, is _probably_ not a problem.  I suppose you might
be able to install 7.1 in /usr without linking against an older
version in /usr/X11R6, providing you remove /usr/X11R6 from
ld.so.conf and don't have any other stuff that needs /usr/X11R6.
