Can't see what OpenSuse have that is different (they seem to have been carrying the patch for some time), I couldn't find an original bug report. I'm on x86_64, no CFLAGS for this, and not running parallel make. This is LFS-7.0, plus errata, but built against the 3.2-rc7 kernel headers. What's different from your build ?
