If not, xinglp reported a problem building openssl on 30th May related to the new version of perl and (I think) pod files. But William Harrington couldn't replicate the problem on his recent LFS-svn which had been updated to the new perl. I pointed out a patch from the openssl list, which apparently didn't apply without fixes - and which didn't help.
