Got thumbnails!  The SVN I was working from mentioned nothing about
tumblerd.  And when I did the install it got built with the full
canonical prefix.  I thought maybe that might not be right.  I rebuilt
it with --program-prefix="", getting just tumblerd, and that fixed it.
This has happened before, and I must admit I don't really understand
what the canonical prefix is all about, when it gets used and when it
doesn't.  References, where I might learn?
