Hi all,
I made am image of my system ( left side ) and I restore this image to
another PC ( right side ). Both machines are equiped with an vga
compatible intel controller. Following recomendations I found googling,
I erased at /home/edgar the files .config and .cache on the right PC. I
got then the kde loading graphic followed by a new screen, with an
extremely small icon on the left up side. Clicking on this one, I get a
menu with some things like "activities", "add miniprograms" and so on. I
can klick activities and a new screen shows up. If I click other items,
the background goes to the mentioned black screen ( with cursor ),
looking as I would need to define a background screen.
Perhaps you can help telling me, what could be happening. By the way,
this behaviour can not be reproduced at all in the PC left side, altough
both PC's are suposed to be equal. Why ?
Kind regards,
Edgar
