I will try to come back to it once I get this new 7.10 (Hey, it's new to
me!) build working--can't figure why I get no sound from ALSA even after
finding the speakers got pushed off so many times they no longer work. 
(Using earbuds!  :o )  And that Nouveau issue is still outstanding.
