I think you need libsndfile for the au format.
Hmm, alsa used to be able to play that file (it's in Swedish) but
none of my recent machines have been able to play 8KHz sound files -
I think it's a hardware limitation.
When I'm on a machine with working sound (not my main development
machine, I'll need to bisect at some point to find where that lost
sound) I'll try to remember to rebuild alsa after libsndfile.

So you can get the wav file there. Also ffmpeg can translate pretty much
from any format to any other. Some exceptions though.
BTW, I pronounce it Lin-ux with emphasis on the first syllable. I do not
see me changing.
