Hi Lisa John R. here
I've also got one of them as well
what you may want to look at or try is,
if it is in the system tray highlight it by arrowing on to it in the system
tray and right mouse click or applications key and a menu will come up
make sure the following item says checked if not then press enter on it and
that will check it
Use printer on line

if your doing it from the control panel then do it on the following steps:

1. start menu
2. go to control panel and enter
3. now find Printers and faxes and press enter
4. arrow down until you hear the name of your printer which will be marked
with Lexmark and the moddle number of your printer
5. now use the right click or applications key and arrow down and you need
to press enter if it isn't selected on to:
Use printer on line
and once you've pressed enter it will be selected if it wasn't checked
already

Subject: [Blind-Computing] My printer won't print

Hello everyone,
I have a lexmark printer. It is a printer, copier, and scanner all in one
unit. I haven't printed anything with it in a while, so last night my son
put new ink cartridges in it. He tried to print his paper for school, and
it said the printer driver is not installed would you like to install it
now, and he clicked yes. It wouldn't let us install anything, so below I
have pasted the message we got when we tried to install the driver. The
weird thing is that I can still scan a paper and read it with openbook. I
don't quite understand that. I am using windows XP home addition, and I am
running jaws 8. If anyone has any suggestions for me, or can help me figure
this out I would really appreciate it. Pasted message below.
Take care,
Lisa
