HI Nimer. Thanks for your response. My computer is fast everywhere else, and types normally in other word processors. I tried it with notepad, wordpad, textpal, EdSharp, and HJPad. I can also type fine in outlook express and in PalTalk, which also uses a rich Edit control. I haven't replaced my keyboard at all recently. I'm using a laptop with a wireless keyboard. I thought at first that it was that, but the onboard keyboard acts the same way. I replaced the battery on the wireless keyboard, connected the receiver directly to the computer rather than the USB hub, attempted to reinstall Office, all to no avail. I'm totally stuck.
