I had this problem on my work computer back in August after they had to reformat my hard drive. We were going to re-install office, but the problem went away. I never figured out what the problem was.

As per the subjectline, there is a delay of about one or two tenths of a second between when I type a key in word and when it gets entered into the document. It didn't used to do that, and it started suddenly a few weeks ago. It wouldn't be so terrible, except that many letters get skipped altogether at random. This makes working in word unbearable. Does anyone have experience with this and how to fix it? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office, but that didn't help. I've tried disabling auto spell checking and grammar features, also to know avail. I know it isn't a JAWS problem because I unloaded JAWS and tried typing with my son watching, and he said there was still a delay. It's very important that I be able to use Microsoft Word.
