Hi Denny,
Here's a possibility.
Has he reached the download limit for the day on send space?

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Problem Downloading With IE

Hi All,

I have a friend that has been trying to download a file that is around 50
meg in size. When it gets to 99% it stops and never finishes.

Here are all of the things I have had him to try with no success.

He is using Windows XP and Windoweyes Up to this point he had been able to
download without any trouble.

The first thing I had him do was to reboot.

Next he emptied his browsing history, temp files, history and cookies.

He was using IE6 so I had him to upgrade to IE 7. Still no luck.

I had him to turn off his antivirus before starting the downloading and that
didn't help. I also had him to turn off his DSL modem for about 2 minutes.

I might also mention that he can download smaller files without any problem.
The web site is Send Space and I have even sent him a 20 meg file through
that site and it downloads OK. Others have downloaded the same files he is
having trouble with without any trouble.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Denny Huff
