I can confirm that free download manager is a very good program. I use it 
and I like it. It supports firefox, but it doesn't integrates in the context 
menus like it does in IE. However, if you set it to watch for downloads in 
firefox it takes care of it. I notice that the integration is better with 
firefox 2.0.0.12 than it was with 2.0.0.11.
