Oh my lands! We had a hell of a time getting rid of the syncing of our then SBC Yahoo! email accounts when we moved away from CA back in 2005. If we everuse big bad AT&T, we won't sync period. Rosemarie, I use AT&T Yahoo, and I have had problems where a discrepancy develops between the number of messages my Yahoo mailbox thinks it has, and the number of messages that the Outlook Express Server thinks it has. The Yahoo mailbox is the one you access using Internet Explorer. What I have learned to do is to access the Yahoo mail inbox, and read a message. This somehow puts the counts in sync, and Outlook Express suddenly begins working again. Seems a little crazy I know, but in my case it works every time.
