Sometimes, my computer runs slow for no reason. Yesterday, there was a five second pause between reading the e-mail list of messages. Messages were sent with no message body. Hi All; A friend's computeris running slow and freezing up. She is running XP Home, IE7, OE, & Jaws 9 latest. They have just moved and are using a new provider, Comcast, I believe. Other that doing a disk clean-up, disk defrag, and a general cleaning what other things should I look for? All help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much. Take care. Mike, It's tax time!
