I've heard that people with Cable Internet may run slower than others,
depending on the number of subscribers on at any given time.
Just a thought.

A friend's computeris running slow and freezing up. She is running XP

IE7, OE, & Jaws 9 latest. They have just moved and are using a new
provider, Comcast, I believe. Other that doing a disk clean-up, disk
defrag, and a general cleaning what other things should I look for? All
