Hi Marie, We have cable for our Internet and they told us my computer might
run slow at times. So this must be true. And certain times of the day and
sometimes on the weekend it does run slower.
Also if a update is running that slows a computer.

I've heard that people with Cable Internet may run slower than others,

A friend's computeris running slow and freezing up. She is running XP

IE7, OE, & Jaws 9 latest. They have just moved and are using a new
provider, Comcast, I believe. Other that doing a disk clean-up, disk
defrag, and a general cleaning what other things should I look for? All
