Steve,

Are you using Win XP? If so, have you tried using the
diskpart command through the run dialogue box? If you are
not familiar with this process ask for additional help
before getting into it.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Need Some Help To Format My Omega
500GB
DrivePlease?

Hello friends;
I need to format my 500GB Omega external drive and no matter
what I do it
just won't format. I deleted all the file on the unit and it
still says
total 465GB available space 437GB. What is taking up the
28GB I really wish
I knew. When I open the drive it says zero files.

I tried to format the drive by entering on format in the
file menu of My
Computer but Roxio wants to reinstall itself. I tried using
Partition magic
with no luck.

Could someone provide some advice on what I could do please?
