Hi Marilyn,

What did you mean by MSI has gone? I don't expect it to be uninstalled by its own, i guess you mean that the message on the system tray said that your machine isn't protected anymore, if it is the case, the reason probably is that your MSI is not updated. I encountered a similar issue some days ago when MSI kept prompting me to update my product, however, as soon as i click on update, i get another error message saying that it was not possible to update and that i had to restart my machine and try again. I went this same procedure for a day or 2 then a friend suggested that i might uninstall and reinstall the new program not just updating the virus dataBase through the program, so I did and everything is fine now!

I am really happy with MSI so far, compared to all those programs i had before, it prooves to be doing its job without interupting your work all time with nonsense messages.

Hope that helps

Don, it isn't as easy as you say. For instance, today I checked my system
tray only to discover that mse is gone goodbye. Yvonne's link goes to a
video installation instructions that is inaccessible to jaws. Wasn't there
a set of accessible installation instructions when we all started using mse?
I can't see that yellow bar miss microsoft talks about on the video. Help
needed so I can get mse back soonest. marilyn
