That is the beauty of MSE. You do not need any instructions. Unless you
want to change the time or frequency of complete scans, it stays out of
the way. If it finds a virus, it will notify you with an easy to read,
accessible dialog. Now you can concentrate on your dangerous actions as a
user rather than the mechanics of configuring security software.

Hi, Yvonne,
I forgot the exact link you go to to download MSE. I think Mike or
David
could better instruct you on where to go. I think you'd remove AVG in
the
control panel like you do with other programs.
Yes, I'm very grateful for your help and everybody else's too. This
list
is really great.

hello rosemary
it seems like a very good possibility that they were indeed sent in
plain
text where as the one i managed to get in to was not.
i am so grateful for your help as i am sure you are for mine.
and of course this goes to all others that helped me with the things i
asked
i wonder if you could help with this
1 where can i get and download m s e?
2 how do i install and run it?
then how do i remove avg once i am satisfied m s e is doing what i ask
of
it
thank you
Yvonne

Hi, Yvonne,
It's possible that all the emails with the links could have been sent
in
plain text. I'm glad to help whenever I can and I'm sure John is too.

hello john and rosemary
thank you for reply
i did what you both said and it was indeed set to plain text
i took the check out and went to apply followed by ok
i tried 4 emails that had this link facility but only 1 was able to
go
straight to internet explorer
no idea why the others did not respond maybe they were sent in plain
text
or
something i know not reason where or why
perhaps someone can shed light on why only 1 of them worked

Please do David. I'd be curious as to how to get those sounds up
and
running. I especially like the one that tells you when a printing
has
been
completed.

It would depend on what sounds you get, for example the main system
sound
effects go in to the C:\windows\media directory. I would need to
research
where the office sounds go.

Okay David.
So if you download them from that page, how do you get them into
the
system?
