Can you do a search with a title of a particular song?
tap the windows key and search for a selection and see?

Hey, again; I still haven't found it but I'm trying everything I can think
of; this might help; I tried to create a folder called my music within my
documents and it said that a folder by that name already existed; so that
tells me that the folder is there but jaws doesn't see it in the list; does
that narrow it down?

Running a global search for *.mp3 is going to give him tons and tons of
results from various folders and or drives.

Dan, try using the search box & looking for a song name u know.
Alternately, try looking for *.mp3 files.

this is awful; I still can't find it, after doing what you suggested. I
even did a jaws find in which I entered c:\mymusic and nothing was
found.
It's got to be here somewhere;

It appears as you're using Windows XP.
1. Go to c:\documents and settings and look for this music subfolder
within "My documents."
2. Run a search for a file you are certain is contained within one of
those folders. When you find it press alt and the enter key to
determine the location of the file. You can now manually seek it out.

I think I have done something stupid but I don't know what it is; I
was checking the properties of my music, which is in my documents, and

I had issues with mcafee; I guess I checked things that I should've or

unchecked them because now I don't have my music folder within my
documents, and I can't find it. I even tried to create a new my music

folder but the computer wouldn't let me. I hope someone can help; I
had a lot of stuff in the my music folder; I didn't go anywhere near
the delete button so it's got to be somewhere on this machine. Thanks

for any help.
