Hi Ken, Before you uninstall Adobe & reinstall it try the following. 1. Go to your Adobe shortcut Icon & press enter. Open the edit menu with the the Alt + E Keystroke, & arrow up to preferences & press enter. 2. If you don't like to do it from the edit menu, Press control+k in the main window of Adobe Reader. Either way, you want to find the General Tab. 3. tab until you find a checkbox called enable protected mode at startup, and uncheck it. Then, press yes to continue after the worning. Then, press OK. 4. Close adobe reader and start it again.
Hope this helps. Take care. Mike From: Mike & Barbara In Arcadia Hi Adi; 1 minor step to add to your information is, after pressing Control + K, for preferences, arrow down to, General, to find, to enable protected mode at startup, & uncheck. Hope this helps. Take care.
