Hi,

You will have to download gsx 64 bit, I do not believe you must purchase it
again.
You will have to buy fsUIPC version 6.
You will need an active sky purchase for p3d version 5, however it remains
similar to the one used in gsx.
If you don't fly on Vatsim you could get away with the free weather program,
but my ultimate question for you is what specifically is making you want to
make the move to p3d version 5? It does not add anything that makes it worth
paying the $60 asking price for a blind pilot, as of yet.

Many thanks for this info Tyler.
Now you're saying that FS-Real-WX is better than Active sky?
Is it still realistic sounding?
I look for the following in a program.
1. It has to be accessible of course.
2. It has to be as close to the real world as possible.
3. Since I'm on a once a month Social Security check, I look for a demo so that
I may try before I buy the program, to make sure it will work out for me.
Would you have any other tips and or tricks to share from one BVI Pilot to
another?
Also, for this rich playboy of a flight simmer BVI Pilot.
I fly GA flights via the DF7X until I can get my hands on thesuccessor to the
DF7X, the DF8X for we rich playboy pilots.
Will it work in P3D v5?
Any You tube videos would be nice.
So, I have GSX and TFM.
I know I'll have to purchase a key for FSUIPC v6, and for Ideal flight for the
new p3d 5 users as well.
Please continue to educate me from jumping from FSX Steam, to P3D v5.
Here's to one day that we have an equil playing fields to be as close as our
sighted counterparts already can take advantage of with their normal vision
when we have to see via our ears.
Many thanks once again.
Ron AKA The Blind Pilot.

FSTramp will work with both, GSX will work with both, I use FS-Real-WX because
it's more accessible than active sky and it's cheaper, and doesn't require
multiple purchases.
