Hi. The original Montezuma's Revenge for the Atari was a side-scroller. That is why James made it a side-scroller. I agree it would be more interesting as a 3D FPS type game, but unfortunately that would require allot of extra work. Perhaps a 2.0 version? For example let's say USA Games finishes this one and some down the road we design a game like it, but add in the features like that. I'm not saying I am going to do that, but it is an idea to think about.
