Hi one fact this topic is overlooking is it doesnt matter how muych you
change your oil within reason because 95 percent of engine wear takes place
at start up when all the oil is in the sump and during the warm up period as
all the moving parts are tight till they expand at running temprature
letting an engine idle for 20 or 30 seconds every time you start it will do
more for your engine than any amount of oil changes another thing stop start
driving wil kill an engine quite quickly as it doesnt have time to warm up,
if a journey is within walking distance guess what dont be a lazy sod walk
it and do the car a favour and get some exercise
