Well I had a Kerby back in the early 90's. I did sell it and recovered some of my money, but here's what I thought. It was well constructed, I figured you could drop it off a very high building and it would continue to work. What I did not like was the fact dog hair etc. could become rapped up in the belt and that was a major issue. The ability to clean carpets wasn't really all the impressive, and the salesperson was ok, but you saw they really had to push the product since I'd imagine they didn't make a massive chunk of change. Of course I don't know what they actually get, but point is the machines are really well built, but I think a bit much for what you get. So, there's my thoughts for whatever they are worth.
