tom, I assume your sears electronic level is visual, if they make one that talks we need to know about it.
I am thinking of general carpentry and cabinet work, for exampel fitting a shelf into an odd angle and the like. A level won't help here. There is much discussion in the list archives and files list about the roto and click rules, so I won't repeat it here except to say that the roto rule allows a totally blind person to measure with accuracy to 1/64Th inch with ease. \tom Fowle
