leave it to them to make a minor change...LOL.  The way yours folds up does
seem more complicated, but it might be safer if you do not need to do any
bending over.

Ok, I don't recall any of those handles and so forth. I'll pull it out 
again today, but my saw had this thing that reminded me of a peddle 
that you flipped with your foot. I wonder if they changed the stand 
some. I have the TS2410LS which apparently replaced the 2400 with very 
few changes. Seems this way is a tad more complicated since you have 
hands and feet in the operation.
Of course it's not in front of me, but the way I did it was to stand 
at the end without the wheels and this is the end where you store the 
guard, fence, etc. There's this peddle-tyep thing you flip up with 
your foot and you tip the saw up on end and it locks in that position 
and now it's standing up. The only part is you have to be sure you 
walk with it to insure it locks. It really is a nice saw and did an 
excellent job yesterday. Yes, I sort of figured out the micro 
adjustment finally when I was looking at the fence a little more 
closely, but I didn't think to push directly on the wheel.
