Hey Michael, actually I took the time to really figure out how this works. Ok, so here's the description, it's not bad at all. What you do is stand on the end of the saw where you store the fence etc. as I explained. You grab the legs under the table and use your right foot to step on the little peddle I was telling you about. Once you step on it, you just lift up and walk forward and you do have to push it over far enough for the lock to snap into place. I think that does make it easier.
