I really know very little about this, but my parents who live in
Reno, Nevada, a place I try not to visit because of the cold, just
ordered new windows and they are putting in triple pane windows.
They only have 4 windows and a sliding door. The window guy said they
should save approximately $25 per month on their heating bill. I was
horified to hear that the one sliding door and the 4 windows were
going to cost just over 7K. Another reason I'm glad I live in Hawaii
with no heater and no air conditioner.
