Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't this problem get unclogged?

Do not try and use a sink plunger to unblock a toilet, it will not work. A proper toilet plunger has a long handle, about 3 or 4 feett long and is hard to push in to the pan of your toilet. The next step, if niever of these things work, is to find the soil man hole cover and lift it, this is usually in your garden, somewhere, but could be in your naghbour's garden, and all so, could be on the pavement outside your house; this all depends on your drain layout. Once you find this, the first thing you try is the snake from that end, his may or may not work. If it doesn't, you should buy, rent, or imploy somebody with a air blasting tool, which basicly blast water and compressed air in a high powered jet to try and remove any obstructions. Beware, if the snake or blast methods works, and the soil pipe is full, and it is full to the upper floor, be prepared to be covered in all kind of shit. I mean! it!, be prepared, it has actually happened to me. Once it starts moving there is no stopping it and you are usually confine in a tiny man hole so the shit hits the fan as it were, and the fan is usually you. Warm regards. Martin Webster. Once at work I needed about 10 minutes of slow methodical plunging to how should I put it, break up a jam. The next step if this fails is something like a snake and things get harder from there.
