As a verizon tech I wouldn't recommend these types of network hook ups. Because its the most slowest of all the ways to connect to the router. you may have a fast Internet connection, but your limit is the speed of the USB port and its not that fast. wired you can get 100mb to 10mb and 1 gig if supported by router, next is PCI wireless card it will give you 54mb max and last is USB at around 411kbs. If your just needing a fast or quick connect USB will do, but for the long hall go PCI or NIC.
