Okay, currently I have a cable modem that goes in to a Linksy router. I have the NIC card. Question; I want to buy a lap top so I can use it down stairs or out on the patio. Someone once told me I could buy something that I could hook up to my hardware firewall slash router that would send a wireless signal to the laptop. Is this correct? if so, what is this device called? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Trouble" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, November 27, 2008 4:03 AM Subject: Re: [BlindHandyMan] wireless network card
