We got in there, and noticed there was a squeak at some point in the mechanism. We put in plenty of lubricant, and worked it back and forth many times, and it began to improve. Then worked it more, and finally it is working normally again. Thank for the inpurt. Blessings, Tom

This would certainly cause problems in the internal linkage not being right. Take the panel off and tighten up the nuts that hold the handle on then see what is going on. It will open the door if it has been setting unlocked, but if we use the remote to unlock the door, operating the handle will not open it.
