Jennifer, I agree with Bob, but might add that if you can figure out which fuse or circuit breaker the light socket is on and the ampere rating of that fuse or breaker it might be good to know. If there are a lot of lights also on that circuit and waistfull sightlings turn them on a lot you might run up on an amperage limit if the circuit is very old and maybe fused for only 10 amps or so.
But unless you run big braille embossers and lots of other gizmos I doubt you'll have a problem. Tom Fowle
