Ref: Constitution of India, Part Three - Fundamental Rights, Article
19(1) (g) which says-
All Citizens SHALL have right to Practice any Profession, or to
carry on any Trade, Occupation, or Business.

FACTS:
# Irrigation  is  a  State  subject;
# In Maharashtra, If one intends to purchase Agricultural Land for
Agriculture, She/He must be a FARMER. It follows the Govt. has
itself recognised farming as an Profession or Occupation.
# By virtue of Art. 19(1)(g),, the Constitution guarantees Every
Citizen........
# Without Irrigation i.e. Water this right is meaningless.
# The State is under obligation to provide adequate Water for
Irrigation to all Farmers and they cannot plead inadequacy of
Funds as a defence for not providing Water.
# State has power to impose Taxes for generating revenue.
# State has unfettered powers in framing policies and Programmes
without even subject to Judicial review.

We are least concerned for the Corruption involved at every step.
we are concerned with our Fundamental Right and we must get it
and the State has taken an OATH before taking Office.

*Relief From the High Court: *
Within a stipulated time frame, the State Must ensure Water for
Irrigation, or face Contempt.

Sandeep Bharat.

Dear friends,

Vikas Ji has raised a profound question. i m expressing my personal views
on this below:

yoga helps a lot in purifying the mind. when one experiences thought-free
consciousness for long time (at least 12 seconds in meditation, at least
12*12 sec for deep meditation), one realises "What is this I which
endlessly chatter in the mind: "I have to do this.", "My work is not yet
finished." - this "I" is nothing but ego. That's why thought-free
consciousness is said to be the highest state of purity (pure or 100%
sattwa) : no harm if the "I" in us is harmless/sattwic "I" of "compassion,
charity, love, selflessness".

by grace of God, i have often experienced deep meditation (>= 144 sec of
thought-free consciousness at a stretch) many times and realise now that
such experiences increase level of compassion and service spirit
tremendously, they give deep joy and peace, make us fearless, make us
understand that "thoughts come and go, but inner consciousness remains same,
so inner consciousness is our real nature and not these thoughts", make us
understand that Consciousness in everyone is same : i would even say that
without prolonged experience of thought-free consciousness, no one can truly
understand the meaning of "oneness of mankind" about which all enlightened
sages have talked.

i have listed all 4 methods to experience thought-free consciousness or
meditation in a file here:
http://gopalkrishna.mission.googlepages.com/yoga.pdf

u may experiment with them and hopefully, develop a habit of doing the
practice for >= 30 min daily in sitting position and use the same in
free-time like during bath, eating food, walking etc to make mind free from
thoughts. if u r aware of any more techniques, please let me know and i will
add them to the file.

directly experiencing thought-free consciousness is not possible for
everyone (by Grace of God, I had a direct experience, but when i tried to
share these techniques with others, many did not experience the state due to
gross level of awareness) : so, using the tool of pranayama and developing
higher ideals of forgiveness, broad-mindedness, non-attachment is also
necessary. Swami Ramdev Ji teaches a very effective combination of 6-7
pranayams: they r absolutely effective in removing physical diseases and
removing gross tension (subtle tensions can be removed only through
experience of thought-free consciousness: pranayam is supposed to deal only
with gross tensions).

here is the vidoe file of Ramdev Ji :

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4073502420928488341&q=ramdev+pranayam&hl=en

please see it: everyone should do 1 hr of yoga daily in the early morning :
5 min Sirshasana, 25 min pranayam, and 30 min meditation.

my interests in yoga goes beyond goal of peace: i aim for the same spiritual
illumination (Self-Realisation) that Buddha has under Bodhi tree, but that
needs extra-ordinary yoga-practice (and full celibacy) for a number of
decades: after joining the Mission fulltime, i will be able to manage time
for such practices.

Kindly share views and advices.

Dear Friends,

My frank views..

1. There is absolutely no doubt that Indian system of Atmadarshan or Nirvana
is superior to any other philosophy or practice as it assures self
experience of the true reality.

2. Eventhough contribution of Indian culture to humanity was tremendous in
historic or prehistoric times, The western culture has contributed
tremendously much more than Indian culture in recent times.

3. It is also true that western culture has been more successful in getting
better standard of living for their citizens.

4. Recent developments and advances in governance, management and
understanding of the world with different perspectives and methodologies are
great gifts of western culture to the world and all of us totally dependant
on that.

5. Our culture has miserably failed to comprehend the recent advances and
adjust to the new reality, we are just being dragged by the brute force of
developments, we have not been able to provide the direction to the
developments. We are merely reacting to the developments meekly.

6. In my opinion this is due to our total confusion between "Aihik" - Of
this World, "Adhyatmic" - Of Atmic world. This confusion can be noticed in
teachings of many saints and scriptures. In zzeal to purify ourselves we
have been prescribing practices to be followed by a "Sanyasin" to
"Grihastha". This has been counterproductive for our society in the long
run.

7. I request you to remove a total misconception that a reallized soul knows
everything. As far as my experience goes there is nothing such as knowing
everything. There are many instances when known and accepted reallized souls
can be shown to have failed to reallize facts.

8. If Atmadarshan is your goal, pl go ahead and follow the path prescribed
for it. If you want to go for Societal developments, be clear in your
vision, strategy and process and follow that. But do not mix up both the
paths.

9. Someone might give examples of some reallized souls like Raja Janak who
was a Atmagyani and successfully run the affairs of Government. but he was
more as an exception than rule.

10. This is not to dissuade anybody from the path of Atmagyan but to stress
to not to mix societal development and Atmagyan.
