Can anyone recommend an inexpensive clutch for the E46? I have a stock 330 so I don't believe I need a Stage-I, the only requirement I have is that it is non-SAC. What brands are there aside from SPEC and Sachs? ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 21 Feb 2006 09:57:35 -0800 (PST) From: "Jim Bassett" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Windshield time Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> On Sat, February 18, 2006 11:39 pm, [EMAIL PROTECTED] said: > The need for a new windshield, ugh. > Where around the Bay area, peninsula/ south bay preferably, is a > good glass place to get and have installed a new windshield for an E36? > What's a good OE brand, or does PPG make good replacements? The last few times I've needed a windshield on the M3, I've had it done at Silicon Valley Auto Glass. Very good, knowledgeable place. Last 'shield is PPG, and has held up quite well, but with all the miles on it, I'm about ready for another one. The race car as also recieved a couple of windshields, installation by a mobile installer from Safelite. Decent, and more convenient than going to a shop. Hope that helps, Jim Bassett 1998 M3/4 - ready for a fourth (or is it fifth?) windshield 1993 325is #44 JP - 3 windshields (so far :-)) ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 21 Feb 2006 13:36:09 -0800 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [email protected] Subject: <E60> 525i Wheel/Tires Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> When the E60 525i was introduced in the U.S. as a 2004 model it came standard with 16 inch wheels and tires. For 2006 the BMW USA web site shows that the standard wheels/tires are 17 inch. Which size was standard on U.S. cars in 2005?
