Actually, this person posted an apology and an explanation several times in
the thread.  He/she does not strike me as someone who is trying to get away
with something sneaky, but someone who got carried away with BXing and now
feels terrible and humiliated to be flogged in public.  He/she appears to be
very interested in making amends to everyone involved.



*sigh*  I don't know why, but I find Bookcrossers to be so mean-spirited at
times and yet so generous and caring at other times.

I can imagine many scenarios as well and I'm as understanding as the

next guy. But the key is that this person hasn't offered any sort of

explanation. If this person came out and explained herself--"I have

OCD" or "I've been depressed, I just haven't read much, and I'm sorry

about the backlog"--I'd have no problem. But to discover that this

person, who I offered one RABCK book originally, who responded by

asking for many more than the one, promising to move them along, and

to whom I trusted and sent a *box* of books, well, it bugs me, it

disturbs me.
