I was under impression that Times is also considered more reasonable, that's why it's more "professional". I'd like to at least see how Times look. > > - the colors? > > I like the blue for the titles in Joel's version. I also like the grey > for the programlistings. I would prefer a light grey for the others. I, specifically, would prefer better color separation betwee header and body. Like at the bottom of: http://www.boost.org/regression-logs/cs-win32_metacomm/doc/html/program_options.overview.html#id502437 I don't have anything interesting to say on > > > - the navigation icons? > > I don't mind either way on this. > > > - the text layout? > > I am not sure what I should be commenting on here. > > > - the text justification? > > I personally like justified text - on the screen at least. There is a > way to to right-justified when printing and justified on the screen: > > @media screen{ body{ text-align: justify; } } > @media print{ body{ text-align: right; } } Why? Don't all book have justified text? Also, two nits: The icons don't look right. For example, in http://boost-sandbox.sourceforge.net/libs/xpressive/doc/html/images/tip.png the background is not transparent, and white square on blue background looks bad. For some reason, the first table on http://boost-sandbox.sourceforge.net/libs/xpressive/doc/html/xpressive.quick_start.html won't fit on my 1600-wide screen, using Konqueror.
