This looks really nice -- reminds me alot of the w3c look and feel, except
they don't have contextual code coloring -- all the example code uses a rust
red color. For an example have a look at:

http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/struct/tables.html

As long as we are comparing, I think this new scheme looks better than some
commercially produced docs I just happen to have bookmarked:

I agree. You can still scan for links, but they are less distracting when you
are just reading. If you want to get 'modern' with this you could add a
background color. The w3c style puts a yellow background in:

//highlight links as yellow when hovering over (idea from w3c stylesheet)
@media screen {  /* hide from IE3 */
 a[href]:hover { background: #ffa }
}

Not bad -- the color isn't nearly as distracting from the content as it was
before. That said the blue against the gray is still a bit jaring to my eye
-- perhaps just a slighty darker gray would be better.

The red isn't a good choice for the #include -- way too bright and
distracting. Maybe give { color: #806020 } a try. I'm also leary of the
green for comments -- maybe that rust red for the comments ({ color: #800000 }
)? This is of course highly subjective, but as an overall principle the color
should be subtle and not distracting.

No opinion on the font -- somehow I must have a blindspot here as it looks
about the same to me...unless some browser setting is overriding this somehow.
