I forgot to mention that I tried doing the same with my husband's machine,
and it was slightly slower than the MPower at its fastest, but not much,
whether the network card was inserted in to his machine or not.

can. This might help to determine if the problem is coming from something
implemented in the MPower or if it's something related somehow to program

itself.
Certainly odd that it should be faster with the network card installed
though.
