Cathy, Dean had to say what he said to tow the party line, legally
speaking. I didn't have a problem placing my sticker on the back of my
unit, but people are different with regard to feeling in their fingers and
coordination. I could see how someone could easily lose that sticker even
though I didn't lose mine. I see both sides of the argument and see how
both sides are relevant, dean from a legal perspective and the others from
a logistical one.
It would be interesting to know how these stickers arrived from microsoft.
I hope they didn't arrive with hundreds of tiny stickers in a cardboard
box. Some could have fallen between the cracks. I assume they came in a
large bag<grin>.
At least this won't be an issue for future purchasers of a bn or vn.

Well, isn't that special! So if everyone is as good as Richard and

Fact is for some people, for sure for one person who is probably wishing
nothing had been said at this point, there was a probnlem, and Deans
threatening approach to push the customer to buy a new license, and
humanware's lack of an attitude towards assisting the customer with a
problem rather than simply selling something more just wasn't appropriate
or in line with their supposed customer focus.
