I am not disagreeing that one should shut down the equipment first when ever possible, but now days with machines on the go it might be the best Corse of action to shut down power to any electrical unit first, but not necessary, there is circuitry in place to protect it.

Most people have things plugged in, and if any one has an office like mine, you'd have to crawl under the desk to plug and unplug. I will say that equipment should be shut off before plugging and unplugging. > ----- Original Message ----- >From: "Jim Ruby" <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, "'Braillenote List'" <[email protected] >Date: Tue, 6 Dec 2005 07:39:06 -0600 >Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Noticed with my braille display >Oh I forgot some of the bn design is still partly in the dark ages.
