Hi all, A few weeks ago, I wrote in with questions about using my new ethernet card. Since then I have gotten the network cable as well. my understanding is that when I am on vacation in two weeks, I'll be able to use this by plugging the network cable into the high speed connection jack in the hotel. however, when I am staying with my sister, and then with friends, will I be able to use this, or will I have to go back to dial up? After all, this cable won't plug into a standard phone jack. how do people use this when visiting other people, so not with their own ISP and modems and all that? Right now, I'm sort of feeling like I perhaps wasted a lot of money buying this card, if I won't be able to use it when traveling, unless I'm in a hotel. I feel confused. And I feel like my questions are not coming out saying what I'm trying to ask. Thanks for any help, if you do get what I'm asking. and feel free to write me off list if you like.
