Many individuals currently own Braillenote products. When I say Braillenote products, I choose to include both display sizes available, and Voicenotes. There are as it is many products to know about, and many options to understand. I mean that, for example, though Keysoft 7 runs on the Braillenote classic, Eloquence does not. I firmly believe that were Humanware to issue special software that contained some features, while other versions contained other features, confusion would walk among us. Every device and/or piece of software that I own has features that I do not use. That doesn't mean that someone else doesn't. I personally will not use instant messaging. That seems to be mostly for the younger users, I know some young people who spend hours doing it. Whatever floats your boat. In fact, I was recently talking to a person on the phone, and the whole time we talked, the person was madly typing instant messages to others. >From my perspective, a bit rude. But, I think it's a generational thing. Anyway, I think that the overwhelming majority of students, for example, will want instant messaging. Do I have to use it? Not at all. Dear Sarah, I think my idea would work because many "extras" are software, not hardware so a person could buy the extra software they need. That's what people do when they want foreign languages so the idea should work with other software, too.
